This past Sunday’s message was titled, “The Person and Work of Jesus Christ:  Superior to Angels”.  Our text was Hebrew 1:4-14 and is part one of a two-part message.  You can find the message HERE.

From the text this week, we saw the person and work of Jesus Christ and observed that His work has returned Him and exalted Him to a regal position of infinite superiority even over the magnificent angels of creation.  This is confirmed and attested in Scripture by His having a royal name, being worthy of a royal response, and exalted to a royal position.  He is no longer identified as a humble servant, but the glorious King, and as a result, He is the sole object of our worship, He is worthy of our service and is the only genuine source of lasting joy.
