For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. (Psalm 139:13-14)
The goal of Fellowship Church Lubbock’s Babies and Toddlers ministry is to begin to share the Word of God and present the gospel of Jesus Christ to our youngest members on a very basic level. We present God to be the creator of all good things and the provider for our greatest needs as we seek to lay a doctrinal framework to help these young people to grow into vibrant disciples of Jesus.
First Fellowship – Birth to 12 months
Little Fellowship – 1 to 4 years old
Sundays – Check-in starts at 9:45am
Visit the Check-in Station to be admit your child to the Nursery. To allow teachers and volunteers time to prepare, the Check-in Station will not open until 15 minutes before the 10:00am service.
What to expect:
First-time guests will be asked to fill out a general information card, which includes name, address, phone number, allergies, feeding times etc. Babies and toddlers may only be checked-in by their parent (or legal guardian) and will only be released only to the person who checked them in. Additionally, teachers and approved security volunteers will ensure that no one may enter the Nursery area without proper credentials.
Upon check-in, each baby or toddler will receive a name tag and parents will receive a Check-in Tag for each one left in our care. When the service has concluded, parents must present the Check-in Tag as identification in order to pick up their child. Children will not be released to anyone who does not present the proper check-in tag. At the time of check out, you will receive a report detailing how we were able to serve your child during the service (bottles/snacks, naps, diapers, etc.)
Safety and Security:
At Fellowship Church Lubbock, we hold your child’s safety, spiritual development, and physical needs in the highest regard and want you and your family to feel safe and secure in our facility, and in our ministry. Along with our strict check-in and check-out requirements, we maintain a safe children-to-teacher ratio, and keep a hall monitor standing by during every service.
Staff and Volunteers:
To ensure your child’s ongoing safety, each of our volunteers:
(a) must be approved by the FCL elders,
(b) must pass an annual independent background check, which is kept on file, and
(c) must complete the FCL Volunteer Training Seminar.
We continuously make improvements to our procedures and ministries to ensure a high-quality program. To ensure the safety and well-being of each child, Fellowship Church Lubbock is dedicated to a strict adherence to our Children and Youth Policy and Procedures.
If you ever have concerns, questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to talk to one of our Directors of Babies, Toddlers and Children’s Ministry; Stacie Neffendorf or Erica Marrs… or contact an elder. We want to serve you!
